AUSTIN (KXAN) — Four days in Arlington cap another thrilling Texas high school football season. Twelve teams will hoist a UIL state championship trophy while the other 12 settle for second place.
The action begins Wednesday at AT&T Stadium, home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, with three state championship games per day culminating with the 6A Division I title game featuring North Crowley and Westlake at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Three teams are back to defend their respective state titles, the Gordon Longhorns in 1A Division I, the Gunter Tigers in 3A Division II and the Malakoff Tigers in 3A Division I.
All games will be broadcast on FanDuel Sports Southwest, formerly Bally Sports Southwest. Check your television provider for availability in your area. Tickets are $20 per day session, which includes all three games, and are available through SeatGeek.
