Southampton v Tottenham Starting XIs – Spence and Bergvall get the nod
Ange Postecoglou has named his Tottenham Hotspur side which will play against Southampton in the Premier League. Most notably, both Djed Spence and Lucas Bergvall make their full Premier League debuts for Spurs.

Tottenham were unable to find their first win since beating Manchester City when they were held to a 1-1 draw against Rangers in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
It was another drab performance from the North Londoners with only Fraser Forster, Archie Gray and Dejan Kulusevski coming out of the match at Ibrox with a performance where they could hold their heads high.
Tottenham are once again without their first-choice central defensive partnering of Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero, while fellow defender Ben Davies is still sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Postecoglou did however admit at Friday’s press conference that Davies’ injury is not as bad as first feared and could return before the New Year.
Aside from injuries, the Australian is also without two of his midfield options with Yves Bissouma serving a ban after picking up his fifth booking of the season, while Rodrigo Bentancur continues to miss action as a result of his domestic ban.
First-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, Wilson Odobert and Richarlison remain long-term absentees and will not return until 2025.
