The Rays are receiving right-handers Joe Boyle and Jacob Watters, along with outfielder Will Simpson and the A’s’ 2025 Competitive Balance Round A pick, in return.
According to The Athletic’s Chandler Rome, the Astros have emerged as serious suitors for Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado. In 152 games last season, Arenado slashed .272/.325/.394/.719.
