The Indian team management has decided to release travelling reserves Yash Dayal, Mukesh Kumar, and Navdeep Saini since they will be appearing for their respective state teams in the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25, set to begin December 21.
According to a report, Yash has already reached home. The 27-year-old will play for Uttar Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Uttar Pradesh is set to clash against Jammu and Kashmir on December 21.
Mukesh Kumar is going to be in Bengal’s squad where he will bowl along with Mohammed Shami. He is yet to boar the flight back home due to fitness issues, but has performed well in the matches against Australia A.
Navdeep has not been impressive in the single match he had played for India A, as he remained wicketless in Mackay. He will represent Delhi, who will also face bengal in the opening day of the tournament/
India is currently facing Australia in the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at Gabba in Brisbane. This Test series is very important for the team as it will affect their chances of qualifying for the World test Championship (WTC) Finals.
