NIKOLA GEORGIEV came off the bench to score an 85th minute winner as Colwyn Bay U19s beat Llanrwst United Reserves 3-2 and temporarily go three points clear at the top of the FAW Reserve League North West, with their ninth win in 11 games.
The young Seagulls were 2-0 up at half-time with Sam Parry breaking clear to beat the advancing keeper on 23 minutes and Efan Bowden-Williams added a second from close range on 34 minutes after Llanrwst failed to fully clear a free kick.
Llanrwst, however, shocked the home side with two goals in two second half minutes from Cai Evans to level the scores at 2-2 and the game looked to be heading for a draw until Nikola raced onto a good through ball to beat Llanrwst keeper Jenson Parry for the late winner.
