Redneck Brawl is back in Cincinnati, Ohio! Bad Left Hook has live coverage tonight.
It’s Christmas come early for the boxing-ish world tonight, as Cincinnati, Ohio once again plays host to Redneck Brawl 8: Rednecks Get Wild!
The show is available as a streaming pay-per-view at RedneckBrawl.tv for $22.99, and starts at 8:00 pm ET. The show can be watched on a conventional TV through Roku, Apple TV, and FireTV.
Tonight, Redneck Brawl returns to Cincinnati for the first time since Brawl 5, where we saw a pregnant ring card girl, no less than four fights in the audience, an altercation between commentator Big Murph and a guy in the crowd who may or may not have thrown a drink on Mrs. Big Murph, a guy who did his ring walk in a “poncho” that looked like a Motel 6 bath towel with a hole cut out of the middle, and a guy fighting in an ankle bracelet with special permission from his probation officer.
All in all, this is the most reliable good time you can find for your PPV dollar, and my favorite live coverage assignment in all of boxing and/or boxing-adjacent shenanigans. The fights move quickly, there’s little downtime, and the commentary is a riot, in every sense of the word. If you’re skeptical, the first 30 minutes of the stream are usually free, so give it a try. You’ll know very quickly whether this is on your wavelength.
And, if you’ve followed along with past Redneck Brawls? You’ll see plenty of old favorites tonight, including 400+ lbs. Big Daddy T vs Brawl regular Tennessee Cornbread, Big Daddy T’s twin cousins Lil’ Smokey and Lil’ Fire, a rematch between Nattyville Brat and Sheen Green, 6’9” welterweight and former JUCO basketball center Country Boot Gang, 6’10” Indiana Lumberjack (briefly promoted on a past show as “The 7 Foot Lumberjack” before honest advertising won out over hyperbole), and many, many more. You’ve also got newcomers with intriguing nicknames like “Big Tobacco,” “Albino Gorilla,” and “Indiana Donkey Punch.”
We’ll have updates, results, and highlights in the stream below:
