New Delhi: Two-time Olympic medalist star Indian shuttler PV Sindhu is engaged. Her engagement ceremony with IT professional Venkata Dutta Sai took place on Saturday (December 14). The badminton player shared a post on Instagram and gave the good news to the fans. Sindhu’s wedding functions will start from December 20. Her family said that there will also be a grand wedding reception in Hyderabad on December 24.

The cute smile on both their faces shows their love for each other. Holding the ring in their hands, the couple made this moment more special by cutting the cake. The couple is going to tie the knot on December 22 in Udaipur. Sindhu’s wedding announcement came just days after she won the title at the Syed Modi International in Lucknow two weeks ago. Sindhu’s wedding celebrations will begin in Udaipur on December 20 and the wedding will take place on December 22. The badminton star has invited many people including legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for the wedding.

Sindhu’s father PV Ramana had told PTI, ‘Both the families knew each other, but everything was decided a month ago. This was the only possible time, as their schedule will become very busy from January.’ Let us tell you that Sindhu is expected to participate in the first Malaysia Open Super 1000 tournament of the season, which will likely start from January 7.
Who is Venkata Dutta Sai?
The world knows about PV Sindhu that she has achieved great achievements while playing badminton, but fans are keen to know about her future husband. Sindhu’s future husband Venkata Dutta Sai is the executive director of Hyderabad-based Posidex Technologies. He is also a professional and experienced entrepreneur who has made his mark in the field of finance, data science and asset management.
Venkata Dutta completed his studies in Liberal Studies and Business. He obtained a Diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the Foundation of Liberal and Management Education and later did a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Flame University. He graduated in 2018. His career began with a prosperous tenure at JSW, where he worked as both a summer intern and an in-house consultant.
During his tenure, he also managed the JSW-owned Delhi Capitals. In 2019 he assumed dual leadership roles as Managing Director of Sour Apple Asset Management and Executive Director of Posidex Technologies. He currently serves as Executive Director at Posidex Technologies, where he leads marketing, HR initiatives, and global partnerships.
