Mike Tyson and Jake Paul's highly anticipated boxing match last month attracted more than 100 million viewers for an unforgettable fight—that is, unforgettable to everyone except Tyson himself.
In a new interview on Fox Sports' Covino & Rich, Tyson looked back on his time in the ring with the YouTuber-turned-boxer and revealed he forgot a lot of what happened. "I don’t remember the fight that much," the former heavyweight champ said. "I kind of blanked out a little."
"I remember coming back from the first round and Jake is doing some kind of…I don’t know what he was doing," Tyson continued as he repeated the bow Paul gave him in the ring. "And that’s the last thing I remember."

While Tyson spent most of this year talking a big game and claiming he'd make easy work of the 27-year-old, judges declared Paul the winner after eight rounds of trading punches. In hindsight, Tyson doesn't know why he embarked on the long journey back to the ring in the first place, which at one point even left him in the hospital.
"The day after [the fight] I woke up and said to my wife, ‘Why did I do that?'" he said, noting he was confused as to what was happening during the match. "I just don’t know what the hell was going on."
Still, though his mind might be foggy from that night, his body certainly knew what happened. "I don't remember it, but my body was really sore, my chest, my stomach was really sore," he said.
And while one might expect him to regret taking on the challenge given his loss, he doesn't regret a thing, responding "Not at all" when asked if he would change anything about the fight.
When asked if he would change anything about the fight with Paul, Tyson stated plainly, "Not at all."
