Ciara served an edgy, all-black look at the opening of the Skims flagship store in New York City on Thursday night.
Sporting a sleek leather blazer paired with teeny, tiny sunglasses embellished with crystals, the “Goodies” hitmaker appeared to channel “The Matrix” with her ensemble for the occasion. For reference, the black leather trench coats and oblong sunglasses worn in the 1999 sci-fi film have provided winter-style inspiration for many over the years.
Ciara wore skimpy black leather shorts under her glossy double-breasted blazer equipped with structured shoulders. As for her bold boots, they only made her outfit stand out more.
The “Body Party” singer donned fluffy black shearling knee-high boots courtesy of Paris Texas. The loud style is designed with a pointed toe crafted in soft suede and set on sturdy high heels measuring 4.5 inches. They’re available to shop online at mytheresa.com for $1,995.
Paris Texas has become popular among celebrities and influencers alike since the Italian shoe brand was founded in 2015 by sisters Annamaria and Margherita Brivio. Emily Ratajkowski, Hailee Steinfeld, Gwyneth Paltrow, Selena Gomez, and Gwen Stefani have all stepped out in shoes from the high-end Italian brand.
Ciara recently collaborated with Bebe on a 156-piece capsule offering a wide range of looks, from hoodies and joggers to dresses, catsuits, and coats. Of the eight different shoe styles, the collection also includes stiletto ankle boots, combat boots, strappy stiletto sandals, and rhinestone-studded slingback pumps.
The “Level Up” artist also has her own fashion brand, Lita by Ciara, which is available to shop via revolve.com. She launched the clothing line in August 2021. When it comes to her personal shoe style, Ciara has been known to wear pumps and boots from brands like The Attico, Bottega Veneta, and Gianvito Rossi as well as Nike Dunks and Jordans.
