A SUPERCAR dubbed a “street-legal beast” that boasts a bubble roof has finally launched after seven years of waiting.
The new Glickenhaus street-legal supercar could be yours for a whopping £300,000.
After a lengthy seven-year wait, the street-legal versions of the Glickenhaus 004 will be going into production.
There will be two versions of the supercar, the 004S and 004CS, available to order through HK Motorcars.
Photos show the two cars both with a carbon-fibre body with sleek curves and a bubble cockpit that seats three people.
The driver will be solo seated at the front with room for two passengers in the back.
Both 004S and 004CS come with climate control, a backup camera, and charging ports.
The 004S, as Glickenhaus is the first supercar to pass an NHTSA crash safety – a test which involves a 3,015 pound barrier moving at 38.5mph and colliding with a stationary vehicle.
Shockingly, it passed the test despite there being any fitted airbags.
Now, the 004CS pays homage to the golden era of supercars.
It wears a more aggressive aero-kit that includes front-wheel louvres, a rear hood scoop, and a blown rear diffuser.
The cars are powered by a supercharged V-8 engine that produces 650 brake horsepower, and a six-speed manual gearbox.
HK Motorcars said: “The 004CS also features bigger brakes, a front suspension lift system, and centre-lock wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres.
“While the 004S is the less aggressive variant and features a six-way adjustable rear seat and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
“If you’ve been waiting for a chance to add the 004 to your collection you might want to reach out to HK Motorcars soon.
“The company’s website shows that as of press time, three 004S and one 004CS build slots are available.”
It comes after an ultra-rare supercar with a blistering 217mph top speed and screaming 12-cylinder engine sold at a Sotheby’s auction for £8.7m.
The Zonda 760 LM Roadster stands out not only for its blistering top speed of 217mph but also for its ultra-rare status.
The exclusive vehicle represents the pinnacle of engineering and design by Italian automaker Pagani.
Inside, it boasts a competition-ready interior complete with suede and leather bucket seats, a custom Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel, and green stitching that mirrors the car’s striking exterior accents.
First introduced in 1999, the Pagani Zonda quickly earned a reputation as one of the most exceptional supercars ever made.
The 760 LM Roadster is one of only 20 cars in the 760 series, making it an even rarer find for collectors.
