DJ James Kennedy is speaking out for the first time following his arrest.
Earlier this week, the 32-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence after a witness allegedly saw James arguing and grabbing a woman at his house in Burbank, Calif.
On Friday morning (December 13), James‘ attorneys released a statement addressing the arrest.

“We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges,” the statement added.
It’s unclear if the woman involved is James‘ girlfriend Ally Lewber, but the pair did attend Kathy Hilton‘s holiday party earlier that night. James and Ally, 28, have been dating for the past few years and live together.
Authorities did not see any injuries on the unidentified woman when they arrived at the scene. James was later released on $20,000 bail.
