A TEENAGE girl was reportedly raped in broad daylight after meeting up with a man she spoke to online.
Northumbria Police have launched a probe after a teenage girl was reportedly raped in Newbottle, near Sunderland, in Tyne and Wear.
The vile attacks are said to have unfolded between 2.05pm and 3.40pm on Sunday September 8.
It was reported the man first assaulted the teen in the wooded area, near Russell Foster Football Centre.
He then allegedly committed more offences against her inside a car in the car park on Houghton Road.
It is understood that the man had been in contact with the teenager via social media before meeting up with her.
