Each year, the musical game show and talent contest kicks off the year with a burst of energy.
A panel of celebrity judges are presented with various costumed characters, and a famous person must be unmasked underneath them.
They need to use all their detective skills to guess clues dropped by Joel and to listen carefully to the voices.
The panel usually consists of Davina McCall, who is recovering from brain surgery to remove a tumour, Jonathan Ross, and Mo Gilligan.
This year, Love Island host Maya Jama will replace Rita Ora on the panel, and Joel Dommet will once again return as host.
In 2025, new recruits will all try to emulate the success of reigning champ and King of the Jungle Danny Jones, who was Piranha.
Winners of previous series have included Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts as Queen Bee, singer Joss Stone as Sausage, Torn singer Natalie Imbrulia as Panda, and Busted‘s Charlie Simpson as Rhino.
The brand-new series will follow the Christmas special, which will air on Boxing Day and feature Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, and other famous panellists. Last year, Ainsley Harriott won the Christmas special as Partridge.
Meanwhile, Ant & Dec will follow the antics, providing more entertainment on Limitless Win.
Limitless Win is a game show in which contestants climb the ladder to win what could be the biggest cash prize in quiz show history.
The winnings are limitless—the question is just how high they will go and how far they will fall.
This will be the sixth season of Masked Singer UK, which returns to ITV on Saturday, 4 January, at 7pm and Sunday, 5 January, at 6:30pm.
Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win is on both nights too at 8:30pm and 8pm.
