New Delhi: There was a time when everyone praised the friendship between Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane. Then Rohit Sharma became the captain of the team. After this, Ajinkya Rahane’s bad days started. Not only was he out of the Test team, but his ODI and T20 International career had already ended. Before the IPL 2025 mega auction, despite his brilliant performance, Chennai Super Kings released him, so the danger of remaining unsold loomed, but in the end Kolkata Knight Riders saved the honor by buying him.
Now Rahane is in great form and is giving a befitting reply with the bat to those who thought he was finished. He played a destructive innings of 98 runs in 56 balls against Baroda and took Mumbai to the final of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Mumbai, chasing the target of 159 runs given by Baroda at the M.
