Baba Vanga, the famed blind prophet of Bulgaria, is credited with accurately predicting major world events which have changed the course of history in the past few decades, including the September 11 terror attack on the Twin Towers in New York. Vanga died in 1996, but the blind mystic has left behind dozens of chilling predictions for the coming year which has triggered a heated debate about whether her prophecies would indeed come true, which would leave the world in ruin.
Among some of the horrifying predictions made by Baba Vanga for the year 2025, is the a major war erupting between the East and West in Syria, which would devolve into World War 3. Eerily enough, the recent events in Syria seem to hint that Baba Vanga’s prediction is on the brink of becoming a horrifying reality.
Another major prophecy made by Vanga was that humans would make their first contact with intelligent extraterrestrial life or aliens, a development she predicted could potentially lead to a worldwide crisis at best and may even trigger the apocalypse.
The gifted prophet has also predicted that humanity would make major scientific advancements, including discoveries which may sound like science fiction at this point, such as telepathy, and the use nanotechnology in medical science. She has also warned about the dangers of these technologies being used for destructive purposes.
Born on October 3, 1911, in Strumica in the Salonica vilayet, then part of the Ottoman Empire, Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, later fondly known as Baba Vanga, or ‘Grandmother Vanga’, lost her sight at the age of 12, but purpotedly gained the gift of clairvoyance and precognition, which allegedly enabled her to view future events.
Vanga, who spent most of her life in the Rupite area in the Belasica mountains in Bulgaria, shot to fame in the late 1970s and 1980s, when she became widely known in Eastern Europe for her alleged abilities.
Often called the ‘Nostradamus of the Balkans’, and regarded as one of the most famous mystics of the 2oth century, Baba Vanga died in 1996, but has left behind a trove of prophecies for the future that continue to captivate and send chills down the spine of billions across the world.
