SAINSBURY’S shoppers can get a free £30 this Christmas.
Customers can now slash the cost of their festive feast thanks to a generous cashback offer from TopCashback.
The deal is only available to new customers to claim up to £30 in savings when shopping at Sainsbury’s.
The offer is available to new TopCashback members who can claim a £15 bonus by spending £15 or more at Sainsbury’s.
On top of that, new Sainsbury’s customers are eligible for an additional £15 cashback when spending £45 or more through Click & Collect, or £14 cashback for home delivery orders.
Existing Sainsbury’s customers can get £1.30 cashback on both click and collect and home delivery.
To take advantage of the deal, shoppers must first join TopCashback as a new member.
After signing up via a dedicated link, they need to search for Sainsbury’s on the website and click “Get Cashback Now” before completing their purchase.
Shop as normal on the Sainsbury’s website – but you must spent more than £45 and be a new Sainsbury’s customer too.
Once confirmed, the cashback will appear in your account within 7 working days.
Remember, cashback is only useful if you were going to spend the money anyway, meaning you get free cash for purchases you were always going to make.
There are loads of ways Sainsbury’s shoppers can save at the supermarket.
Regular shoppers can benefit from personalised discounts through Your Nectar Prices, which apply automatically online or via the SmartShop app in-store.
It’s also worth taking a look at the Nectar app from time to time for other ways to earn bonus points when shopping at Sainsbury’s.
For even greater savings, shoppers may consider Sainsbury’s own brand, Stamford Street Co. range, which offers value items at Aldi price-matched levels.
Shopping times can also affect the cost of your shop, those who shop later in the evening may find yellow-stickered items at reduced prices.
Additionally, Sainsbury’s offers grocery delivery and Click+Collect services with varying prices depending on time and location.
Most deliveries cost between £1 and £5.50 but if you regularly shop online, you can save on delivery costs by purchasing a delivery pass.
The Anytime Delivery Pass entitles you to a free delivery per day, 7 days per week with a minimum spend of £40. This pass costs £80 for 12 months, £43 for 6 months or £7.50 for a monthly pass.
It’s always worth price comparing and shopping between different supermarkets to make sure you’re getting the most value for money.
This year, Aldi is set to be the cheapest place to buy a turkey this year, tying with Lidl, with rival supermarkets warring over who can offer the best prices.
Sainsbury’s also said it would slash vegetables to 15p just a day before Aldi made its announcement.
The supermarket confirmed last week that prices for Nectar Card customers are dropping between December 18 and Christmas Eve.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how you can save money on your Christmas shopping.
Limit the amount of presents – buying presents for all your family and friends can cost a bomb.
Instead, why not organise a Secret Santa between your inner circles so you’re not having to buy multiple presents.
Plan ahead – if you’ve got the stamina and budget, it’s worth buying your Christmas presents for the following year in the January sales.
Make sure you shop around for the best deals by using price comparison sites so you’re not forking out more than you should though.
Buy in Boxing Day sales – some retailers start their main Christmas sales early so you can actually snap up a bargain before December 25.
Delivery may cost you a bit more, but it can be worth it if the savings are decent.
Shop via outlet stores – you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.
They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.
