Since they first started dating in late 2020, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, a.k.a. Colson Baker, have cemented themselves as one of the more chaotic and confusing celebrity couples. This year alone has been a whirlwind for the on-again, off-again “twin souls”: After showing off their couple’s costume in October, Fox announced her pregnancy last month. Then, this week, it came out that they had broken up again during the Thanksgiving holiday. So what’s going on?
According to TMZ, the breakup happened over Thanksgiving weekend in Vail, Colorado. A source told “Page Six” that Fox went through Baker’s phone and “found text messages involving other women and decided she was done.”
Now, TMZ reports that Fox hasn’t been living with Baker for the past year, and she purchased a new, $8 million home without him — before their breakup. Still, according to People, Fox was “blindsided” by the split and has been “distraught.”
Meanwhile, TMZ claims that Fox’s “inner circle” has been advising her to “move on once and for all” and urging her to protect her mental health while pregnant. However, the same sources told the tabloid that they wouldn’t be surprised to see the couple back together. “Their relationship has always been bumpy,” another source told People. “They love each other but don’t have compatible personalities. They’re both hotheads, dramatic, and stubborn. When they’re good together, they’re great.”
