Cincinnati star quarterback Joe Burrow has made his first official comments since his house was burglarized on Monday (December 9) while he was playing in a Monday Night Football game.
When media reports emerged about the break-in, another detail came to light. A 22-year-old model named Olivia Ponton was the person who called in the burglary, and said she was employed by Joe.
The nature of their relationship is unknown, but as of earlier this year, he was possibly engaged to his longtime girlfriend Olivia Holzmacher.
During his regularly scheduled press conference on Wednesday (December 11), Joe, 28, addressed the burglary and the violation he has felt.

“I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one, and way more is out there than I would want out there and that I care to share,” Joe told the media. “We live a public life and one of my least favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy, and that has been difficult to deal with my entire career. I’m still learning, but I understand it’s the life that we choose. It doesn’t make it any easier to deal with.”

By the way, Joe is not the only professional athlete to have his house targeted, and it seems to be happening as a result of a major crime ring.
