BRUNSWICK, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- On Monday, state police arrested a Troy man after four open investigations into fraudulent checks. Terrance Lee, 35, was arrested on warrants for multiple charges.
Lee allegedly had fraudulent checks and deposited them at different banks in Albany and Rensselaer counties. According to police, he deposited the fraudulent checks at banks in Glenmont, Watervliet, Cohoes and Brunswick, resulting in more than $4,000 stolen.
After his arrest, he was arraigned at the Brunswick Town Court for the charges in Brunswick. He was remanded to the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 cash or a $100,000 partially secured bond.
On Tuesday, he was released on bail but transported and arraigned at the Cohoes Town Court on the remaining Albany County charges, then released under the supervision of the Rensselaer County Probation Department. Lee was transported again to the Troy Police Department for pending unrelated charges.
