The concert in question was supposed to take place at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, Mariah had to cancel because she is currently sick.
“Pittsburgh, I am sorry to say, I’ve come down with the flu. It breaks my heart that I unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show. I love you all so much,” she wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
TicketMaster confirmed the news, letting fans know that they were issuing refunds. Attendees should receive the money within the next 14 to 21 days.
We hope that Mariah is feeling better soon and that she makes a full recovery.
She is supposed to take the stage on Friday for another stop on her Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time Tour in Newark, New Jersey. She’ll close out the tour with two more shows in New York on December 15 and December 17.
