ZOE Ball has shared how her family has already suffered a Christmas disaster ahead of the big day.
The Radio 2 star, 54, was chatting on the breakfast show today when she spoke of how her daughter Nell was rushed to hospital recently.

“Sending love to my Nell today,” she said on her show before revealing the painful incident.
“It was supposed to be her last day of school today. But sadly, her dad unintentionally dropped a Christmas Tree on her foot and she had to go to A&E yesterday.”
Zoe added: “She had an X-ray but it’s okay, it’s just swollen.
“She’s going to be alright, but she was supposed to go ice skating with her friends from school today but she won’t be able to get her foot in a boot.
“The things you don’t think are going to happen!”
Zoe is mum to Nelly, 14, and son Woody, 23.
The radio host shares her kids with her ex-husband Norman, whom she married in 1999 after they met in Ibiza in 1997.
The couple’s marriage wasn’t to stand the test of time though, with them announcing their divorce in 2016.
Back in October, it was reported that the couple had been spending more time together, with tongues wagging.
Remaining close friends, it was recently reported that Zoe sold her Sussex mansion so she could move closer to her ex in Brighton.
Two months ago an insider told the Daily Mail: “They always seem to be together.”
The Radio 2 host announced her departure from the station last month.
Announcing the news, she said at the time: “After six incredible years on the Radio 2 Breakfast Show, it’s time for me to step away from the very early mornings and focus on family.”
She went on: “It’s been a privilege. I think the world of you listeners and I’m grateful to my bosses here for their support, especially this year.
“Huge thanks go to my awesome team on the show, Tina, Mike, and Richie, and of course our listeners, with whom I’ve shared some of life’s highs and lows, the good, the bad, and the daft times.”
Zoe then revealed: “My last show will be on Friday, December 20, just in time for Christmas with plenty of fun and shenanigans.
“While I’m stepping away from the Breakfast Show, I’m not disappearing entirely – I’ll still be a part of the Radio 2 family, with more news in the New Year.
“I’m excited to embrace my next chapter, including being a mum in the mornings, and I can’t wait to tune in on the school run!”
This comes amid reports that she is set to return to her telly career next year, with ITV and Netflix already eyeing her up.
