Former Chief Minister SM Krishna's last rites will be performed with full state honors at his ancestral village in Maddur taluk today. A public procession from Bengaluru to Maddur will precede the ceremony, with stops for public homage along the way. Thousands are expected to attend, and a voluntary bandh has been called across Mandya district.
