The Senate stands adjourned until 11:00am on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #783 Lauren McGarity McFerran, of the District of Columbia, to be a Member of the National Labor Relations Board for the term of five years expiring December 16, 2029.
At approximately 12:00 noon, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the McFerran nomination.
If cloture is invoked on the nomination, unless further agreement is reached, there will be up to 2 hours of debate. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the McFerran nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #784 Joshua L. Ditelberg, of Illinois, to be a Member of the National Labor Relations Board for the term of five years expiring December 16, 2027. If cloture is invoked on the nomination, there will be up to 2 hours of debate. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Ditelberg nomination.
During Tuesday’s session, Senator Schumer filed cloture on the following nomination:
1. Executive Calendar #835 Matthew James Marzano, of Illinois, to be a Member of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for the term of five years expiring June 30, 2028
