Bella Hadid is taking her cowgirl lifestyle very seriously. Ever since she began dating professional horseback rider Adan Banuelos last year, the model has gone full send into yeehaw culture. She’s spent a lot of time in Texas, she turned New York Fashion Week into a rodeo, and just last night, she made a cameo on Yellowstone, America’s most horse-forward television show.
Hadid appeared in Sunday’s episode as Sadie, a woman dating horse trainer Travis Wheatley. That would (maybe) be normal if Travis weren’t played by Taylor Sheridan, the guy who also created the show and writes every single episode. He just wrote up a scenario in which one of the most famous models in the world is his girlfriend, and then she appeared on set. That’s too much power!

Now, what do we think is in this for Hadid? Is she a big Yellowstone fan? Is her boyfriend? I think we’re getting warmer. Banuelos also has a cameo in the episode as a guy playing poker with Sheridan’s character. It seems much more likely that the Texan cutting-horse rider is an avid Yellowstone fan and that his girlfriend accepted the offer to be on the show if she could bring him along. Everybody wins.
The timing of this couldn’t be better. Due to the holidays, the likelihood of you encountering an older man you don’t have a ton in common with is about to skyrocket. This is what you should ask him about. He will probably not know who Bella Hadid is, but that’s just your way in. He will be more than happy to spend at least 30 minutes explaining all the Dutton family drama to you.
