Jamie O’Hara makes a big statement on Ange Postecoglou’s future after watching Tottenham Hotspur capitulate against Chelsea.
Given how Spurs have defended at times this season, not many fans were particularly comfortable even after the home side raced into an early 2-0 lead against Chelsea.
Those fears were proven right, with the home side once again throwing away their lead, with the Blues putting four past them, just like they did at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last season.
This result leaves the Lilywhites mired in mid-table mediocrity, with Postecoglou now a man under immense pressure.
O’Hara was among many Spurs fans who are now tired of the team’s run of results, with the former Tottenham midfielder admitting that he is at the end of his patience.
The pundit took to social media to assert that this run of form cannot go on and added that it is ‘time to go’, presumably referring to Postecoglou.
We are yet to see evidence that Postecoglou‘s methods can work in the Premier League and at this point, he is certainly not making a good case for himself.
However, this project is worth persevering with to see if there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Sacking yet another manager at this time will put us back to square one and set us back at least 18 months as we have taken steps to build the kind of squad that suits the Australian’s methods.
