Match Report: Dartford FC 4-0 Newhaven FC.
London and SouthEast Regional League Premier Division, played on Sunday 8th December 2024.

The rain was falling and the wind howling as we welcomed Newhaven FC to Princes Park for our final home league fixture of 2024.
Darts began this game on the front foot and created the first chance within the first minute. The ball fell to Emily Vaughan inside the box, the Darts forward volleyed towards goal but it went wide of the Newhaven goal.
The visitors saw off the early pressure from the home side and created an opportunity shortly after. In the 11th minute, Lauren Empringham went through on goal, but Gabby Howell was there to block the effort on goal and clear the ball away from danger.
As the 1st half wore on, the Darts created various chances and took the lead in the 39th minute. A shot from Emily Vaughan was initially saved well by Newhaven keeper, Elleah Fenner. The ball fell to Lizzie Adams, who fired home to put the Darts ahead at half time.
Darts doubled there lead within the first five minutes of the second half. A good move down the left resulted in a cross from Georgie Davis being deflected in to the goal by a Newhaven defender and we were 2 goals ahead.
Darts extended the lead further in the 53rd minute. The home side were awarded a penalty and Darts midfielder Shauni Griffiths stepped up and slotted the penalty home to seal all three points.
In the 82nd minute, the home side were awarded their second penalty of the game. This time, Amy Russ, stepped up but the penalty was saved by Newhaven keeper, Elleah Fenner.
Darts continued to search for goal number four and this came our way six minutes from the end. In the 84th minute, a cross from Beth Powell found Abbey Davies on the edge of the box. The Darts defender shot from distance and found the far corner of the net to top off a dominant display from the home side.
