MANDAUE CITY, CEBU – Rhonvex Capuloy (11-3,8KO’s) and Jason Tinampay (14-19-2,11KO’s) will be fighting for the World Boxing Foundation (WBF) Australasian super featherweight title this Tuesday December 10 in the main event of an eight bout card at the Conequip Building in Mandaue City.
Capuloy and Tinampay both easily made the division limit during the official weigh in held at the fight venue. Capuloy fought overseas twice this year with a 1D-1L record. He had a technical draw against Zhi Gang Zhang in South Korea and a TKO loss in Japan against Shunpei Ohata. Tinampay will be looking to bounce back to the win column after losing to Raymond Empic and Alan Alberca.
The main supporting attraction will be Police officer Jusue “Pistolero” Bastillada ( 8-1,5 KO's) , who will trade punches with Paolo Fortun (3-1,1KO). Bastillada has won five straight bouts while Fortun is coming off his lobe career loss. Both weighed 125.7 lbs during the weigh-in. They are set for six rounds.
For the rest of the undercards – Reycar Auxilio vs Jess Rhey Waminal – 8 rounds, Arlando Senoc vs George Sedillo – 6 rounds, Taiwanese Ming Hung Lee vs Kim Lindog – 6 rounds, John Rey Labajo vs Dixon Ercillo – 6 rounds, Emje Felicilda vs Ronnie Urgel, who will be making his pro debut – 4 rounds and Mark Anthony Sarino vs Norman Rusiana - 4 rounds.
