A year ago, McDonald's flipped the fast food industry on its head with the launch of its first-ever CosMc's café dedicated to serving delicious drinks of all kinds to customers on the go. Now, Taco Bell is honing in on a beverage-centric concept of its own.
On Dec. 9, Taco Bell held a grand opening for its inaugural Live Más Café in Chula Vista, California, bringing the ubiquitous fast food chain into the growing fast food café fold. You'll still be able to order food items like tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and others from a value menu, but the drinks are the star of the show here. This includes its hit Chiller and Agua Refresca products, both launched in the past year, and some unique coffee drinks for that morning pick-me-up. Choose from a variety of drinks like the Caramel Cafe Churro Chiller, Mexican Mocha Iced Coffee, Cinnabon Caramel Iced Coffee, Strawberry Lime Refresca Freeze, and Vanilla Crema Iced Coffee when you stop in.

The goal with the Live Más Café is to "disrupt the beverage industry with a Taco Bell twist," according to a statement shared with QSR magazine.
"We’re always looking for new ways to elevate the Taco Bell experience, and the Live Más Café is the perfect example of that," Taco Bell president Scott Mezvinsky said. "This innovative pilot concept is all about expanding the boundaries of what Taco Bell can be, creating a dynamic space where guests can experience our bold flavors in new and exciting ways."
The Live Más Café will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. It remains to be seen just how widely or quickly the concept will expand across the U.S.
