VERA desperately calls for help in a first look at teaser images from the forthcoming final ever episodes.
ITV previously confirmed the first episode of the 14th – and last ever – series of the hit drama will air on New Year’s Day.
Oscar-nominated actress Brenda Blethyn, 78, will return for two more editions of the National Television Award nominated detective series.
The episodes are called ‘Inside’ and ‘The Dark Wives’ as Vera looks into the case surrounding these gripping murder mysteries.

Bosses have teased that it will be a compelling and ’emotional’ farewell to the long-running series.
The end of the show was previously confirmed by the broadcaster after the acclaimed actress decided to step back from the role.
Brenda previously teased how the series might end, as she said that events might get be rocky.
At an event at the BFI in London, Brenda hinted there might be tension between her alter ego and her colleague.
