The Rebels squared off against the Mississippi State Bulldogs in their last outing, winning 26-14. The Blue Devils are coming off of a victory over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons by the score of 23-17. Against the Bulldogs, Jaxson Dart led the Rebs with 143 yards on 14-of-24 passing (58.3%) for one touchdown and no interceptions. He also carried the ball 13 times for 77 yards. Ulysses Bentley IV ran for 136 yards on 20 carries (6.8 yards per carry) and one touchdown, adding one reception for seven yards. Caden Prieskorn totaled four receptions for 53 yards (averaging 13.3 per catch), while scoring one touchdown against the Bulldogs. Maalik Murphy went 26-for-34 with 235 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the Devils against the Demon Deacons. He also rushed two times for -8 yards and one touchdown. Star Thomas put together a 14-carry, 66-yard game (4.7 yards per attempt) with one touchdown, while tacking on five receptions for 27 yards . Jordan Moore caught five passes for 98 yards (19.6 yards per catch), scoring one touchdown.
