The Aggies head into this matchup following a 17-7 loss to the Texas Longhorns in their last game. The Trojans’ last game was a 49-35 loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Marcel Reed threw for 146 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception on 16-of-23 passing (69.6%) for the Aggies in that matchup against the Longhorns. He also added 14 carries for 60 yards. Amari Daniels took 13 carries for 21 yards (1.6 yards per carry), while adding one reception for zero yards in the passing game. Terry Bussey hauled in two receptions for 40 yards (averaging 20.0 per catch) against the Longhorns. Jayden Maiava totaled 360 passing yards while going 27-for-48 with three touchdowns and one interception for the Trojans against the Fighting Irish. He added five carries for 11 yards and two touchdowns. In that matchup, Quinten Joyner had a 10-carry, 83-yard game (8.3 yards per attempt). He also added one reception for 13 yards . Makai Lemon recorded nine catches for 133 yards (on 10 targets).
