Elle and Dakota Fanning step out for The Wrap’s 2024 Power Women Summit held at The Maybourne Beverly Hills last week.
The sisters were joined at the event by their Lewellen Pictures producer partner and manager Brittany Kahan Ward and The Wrap‘s Sharon Waxman.
While speaking at the summit, the Fannings were asked about the upcoming TV series adaptation of Paris Hilton‘s memoir, “Paris: The Memoir,” which they are producing. During the Spotlight Conversation, they revealed which of them would portray Paris in the series.

“We haven’t figured that out yet!” Elle said with a laugh, with Dakota saying, “We’re in development!”
Brittany Kahan Ward, who will also serve as a producer on the project, added, “I think it’ll be really dependent on what makes sense for the story and what stage in her life.”
Dakota also commented on what is most compelling about Paris‘ story.
“Talk about subverting people’s expectations. I think Paris is such an amazing example of that. With her story that she’s now been telling and the behind the scenes of what she was going through,” she shared. “Her childhood traumas, the things she went through as a teen, and also just being kind of the first influencer in L.A. in the early 2000s and the trials and tribulations of that.”
It’s been over a year since it was first announced that Elle and Dakota would produce the series adaptation of “Paris: The Memoir,” and they have both kept very busy since with multiple projects each!
If you missed it, earlier this year, Dakota revealed if she and Elle are competitive with each other.
