PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Portland's 'Santa Clones' are shining bright once again as 'perpetual creative' Chris Willis reveals clues to this year's secret Santa location.
'Santa Clones' have become a fun holiday hunt over the last several years for Portlanders. A new location for the sea of Santas was revealed to spectators Saturday, December 7, 2024. Willis has asked to keep the location unknown, but gives a hint as to where they are located this year.
The Instagram announcement stated, "The space is very 'Old Portland' and I was extremely fortunate to be given the opportunity to bring it to life this season."
You've got some time to find them. The Santa Clones will be glowing every evening from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. now through January 1, 2025.
"'Twas the month of December when somewhere in town, four hundred little santas sat waiting to be found.
The Santa are nestled all snug in their space, where a soda fountain stood a hundred years in its place.
Away to the location you flew like a flash, the boulevard was sandy but little chance you'd crash.
Comfy in your kerchief or cozy in a cap, stopped in to buy whole foods across the street on a map.
When what to your wondering eyes should appear, but a historic theatre marquee shimmering quite near.
And I heard you exclaim, 'the Santa Clones, such a sight!'
Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good-night."
As in years past, Willis has asked to keep this location secret for others to find. So, watch where you tag, comment and post.
