Oklahoma State is hiring veteran defensive mind Todd Grantham as defensive coordinator. McClain Baxley of OKState 247 was the first to report the hire.
News 4's Dylan Buckingham has since confirmed the move.
Grantham, who is currently the New Orleans Saints defensive line coach, has coached for numerous teams in the NFL. His resume includes the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, and the Houston Texans.
The 58 year old also has an impressive list of college stops as well. Grantham began his career at his alma mater, Virginia Tech, but has coached at Michigan State Louisville, Florida, and Georgia. He was also a defensive analyst for Nick Saban and Alabama in 2022.
Sources also told our Dylan Buckingham that current OSU defensive staff members will have an opportunity to interview for their current jobs to stay on staff.
No official word on the hire from Oklahoma State yet.
