Sovereign Gold Bonds (SGBs) are digital gold investments issued by the Reserve Bank of India on behalf of the Government of India. Denominated in multiples of 1 gram, these bonds have an 8-year tenure with exit options in the 5th, 6th, and 7th years. The minimum investment is 1 gram, and the maximum limit is 4 kg for individuals and HUFs, and 20 kg for trusts.
