Earlier this week, New York Magazine released a flagship mobile app that makes for an elegant, intuitive reading experience we think you’re going to love. Whether you come to the Cut for politics and world news or to enjoy celebrity gossip and Sex Diaries, the new app makes it easy to find journalism that grabs and excites you. Users can set their preferred New York vertical (ahem) as a default home page, but you can easily move between sites, too, if you want to read Grub Street Diets or check out Curbed’s latest Look Book. The app also features a “Great Stories” section with editors’ curated picks for the best essays, reviews, and investigations to read from each site, and a “Collections” section with the most of-the-moment stories. Download the app to your iPhone to get started (Android availability coming soon!). Subscribers, we promise you’ll only have to log in once, then never again.
