Hi and welcome to this weekend’s preview with Royston Town FC, Royston
Town Women and Royston Town Reserves.
First up, Royston Town host AFC Telford United in the Southern League
Premier Central, Saturday, 3pm kick-off. Royston Town are hoping to bounce
back after a frustrating 3-1 loss against Stamford AFC last Saturday, while
AFC Telford got a 2-0 away victory against Leiston. Our last meeting with
AFC Telford United ended in a 2-2 draw in rainy conditions with all four goals
being down one end near the Brian Racher Stand. Telford were 2-0 up at half time with
goals from Ellis Brown and Montel Gibson until Royston scored their goals
very late on in the 80th minute mark from Kian Harness and Dequane
Wilson-Braithwaite.

the start of their FA Women’s Cup this season and Royston won 3-1 with a
Tally Miles goal and an Emma Slater brace, however in terms of league
meeting it was a 6-2 win for Haringey Borough so Royston will be hoping for

beat Irchester United 8-0 at home last season in the league with a Danny
Baulk hat-trick, Michael Baulk brace, and a goal each from Kian Harness,
Jack Davis and Freddie Brown and a 2-0 win recently in the league cup with
