Joey King will be getting into the holiday spirit by participating in a live-read of the classic movie It’s a Wonderful Life, all for a special cause.
The Emmy-nominated actress has joined the star-studded lineup for an event taking place in Los Angeles, which fans around the world will be able to watch via a live stream.
The event will support The Ed Asner Family Center, which provides crucial resources and a caring community for families of children with special needs.
“Happy holidays everybody! I just want to tell you that on December 14 at the Garry Marshall Theatre, I will be doing a live reading of It’s a Wonderful Life with some other really cool people with the Ed Asner Family Center, which is an organization that supports neuro-divergent individuals. It’s such a beautiful cause and we’re going to have such a great time,” Joey said on her Instagram Stories.
She added, “It’s going to be so sweet, so joyous, and so holiday-filled. And it’s going to be live!”
Tom Bergeron is hosting the event and other stars include Mark Hamill, Ron Funches, and the cast of SpongeBob SquarePants.
