She played Lucy McClane, daughter to Bruce’s iconic lead character John McClane.
Per IMDB, the film‘s premise is: “A New York City police officer tries to save his estranged wife and several others taken hostage by terrorists during a Christmas party at the Nakatomi Plaza in Los Angeles.”
Almost four decades on, Taylor looked unrecognisable while out and about in LA.
The former actress wore a green shirt and blue denim jeans, while carrying a red handbag and orange water bottle.
As well as Golden Globe winner Bruce, Taylor’s Die Hard co-stars included Reginald VelJohnson, William Atherton and the late Alan Rickman.
Ultimately, she starred in just two other films: the first being 1994’s North.
This comedy-drama adventure featured Bruce Willis narrating and marked a 9-year-old Scarlett Johannsson’s film debut.
Taylor also played a supporting role in 1995 fantasy drama A Little Princess.
On the TV side, she appeared in Roseanne, Get a Life and Eerie, Indiana before retiring from acting.
Her last on-screen appearance was as Phoebe Hartman in short-lived sitcom Kirk from 1995 to 1996.
Three years later, Taylor graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1999.
Graduating alongside her were fellow actors Rami Malek and Rachel Bilson.
Taylor then went on to study – and graduate – from University of California Santa Barbara.
During her time there, she developed a passion for Ultimate Frisbee and graduated in 2003.
