THIS is the terrifying moment a car is smashed off the road after a barrage of wooden planks came flying off a truck in a real-life Final Destination crash.
Horror dashcam footage shows the load of lumber breaking loose and falling from a flyover above before slamming a silver sedan.
The traffic on the highway was moving slowly unaware of the dangerous clash that was about to take place.
As the silver Chevrolet drove near the flyover hundreds of wooden planks came crashing on the road, sweeping the car out of the way.
Luckily, no one was injured in the freak accident that took place on Interstate 83 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Derek Gooderham’s car was right behind the unfortunate Chevrolet – and his dashcam captured the terrifying ancient.
He revealed the accident left him disoriented for a brief moment.
“I hate saying things like this, but that was probably the scariest thing that I have seen so far in my life,” the driver told local media outlet WGAL.
“I hope there’s nothing that tops that. It was pretty scary,” he added.
It comes after a freight train crashed into a massive truck carrying a military tank just a few seconds after a driver escaped.
Shocking footage showed the train crashing into the 18-wheeled tractor-trailer as it crossed the tracks while debris could be seen in the air.
Cops said the truck’s trailer got stuck on the tracks while driving over the rail crossing.
A shocked witness said the driver desperately tried to free the vehicle until he managed to escape just seconds before the train struck.
Sonya Pitt said: “At that point, the arms started coming down, and we came out here walking real fast to try and get over, tell him to get out of the truck, and he jumped out of the truck and the train was coming.
“And maybe five seconds later the train hit and destroyed everything.”
There were no injuries and the driver refused treatment.
Liberty Hall and Red Bank Roads were both temporarily closed.
It is believed that the military vehicle was an M109 howitzer.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
Police said: CSX appreciates the quick response of Goose Creek Police and Fire. …
“It’s also important to note that at CSX, safety is our top priority. We’d like to remind motorists to pay attention and adhere to posted signs and warnings while approaching rail crossings.”
