Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, is set to make his directorial debut with a Netflix series soon. However, before announcing his directorial venture, Aryan made a significant announcement in 2022 about his business partnership. Aryan and Shah Rukh Khan launched a whiskey brand together, which has now become one of the best brands in the world. The father-son duo runs a whiskey brand called D’YAVOL Inception.
Shah Rukh Khan, widely regarded as the “King of Bollywood,” excels not only in the entertainment industry but also as a savvy businessman. Together with Aryan, he co-owns D’YAVOL, which recently earned top honors at the 2024 New York World Spirits Competition. The brand was awarded Best Overall Scotch, Best of Class, and Best Blended Malt Scotch Whiskey.
At the New York World Spirits Competition, the whiskey was judged on various criteria, including authenticity, quality, and manufacturing. The brand passed all these tests with flying colors. Expressing his happiness over the award, Aryan Khan said, “Receiving this award is proof that we are on the right path when it comes to authenticity, quality, and craftsmanship.”

Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan’s whiskey brand, D’YAVOL, is priced as follows: the D’YAVOL Inception (750ml) is currently available in Maharashtra for Rs. 9,800, in Goa for Rs. 9,000, and in Karnataka for Rs. 9,500. The brand is expected to be available soon in Delhi, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Telangana.
D’YAVOL- crafted from 8 different malts
The special feature of Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan’s whiskey brand is that it is crafted from 8 different malts, aged for 12 years. The malts are sourced from the Highland, Lowland, and Island regions before being blended. This non-chill filtered whiskey offers an authentic flavor with hints of dried fruit, dark chocolate, smokiness, ripe plums, and a light essence of sweet vanilla. The whisky was launched in 2023.
In the past, D’YAVOL Inception has been awarded with multiple accolades including Gold at the International Wine and Spirits Awards (IWSA), Double Gold at the New York World Spirits Competition (NYWSC), and ‘Blended Scotch of the Year’ at the Asia International Spirits Competition (AISC) in 2024.
