Joey Lawrence and his estranged wife Samantha Cope have reconciled their relationship, months after she filed for divorce amid accusations he was having an affair.
Now, Melina Alves, the woman he was accused of having the affair with, is reacting to the news.

“While these situations are always multifaceted, I’d like to keep the details of it and my friendship with Joey private,” Melina told People. “As far as Joey and Sam reuniting and reconciling, it came as a surprise to me as everyone else, and if it’s true, I wish them all the love.”
She added, “I wish them restoration with the relationship with his two older daughters and his wife as that relationship is ever so important. And now their sweet girl, Dylan, gets to be raised in a home with both of her parents, surrounded by her sisters, her wonderful and loving grandmother Donna, and the rest of her family and that’s truly beautiful.”
Court documents in summer 2024 alleged that Joey was having an affair with his co-star from the upcoming film Socked In For Christmas. A source claimed that Joey would “get ready for dates with Melina while Sam watched, bawling her eyes out.”
Joey denied the affair and Melina also released a statement denying the rumors.
