SPRINGFIELD, Va. (NEWS10) -- The pilot who was killed in a plane crash in Greene County in November was laid to rest on Thursday. A funeral was held in Virginia for Seuk Kim.
Kim was volunteering for Pilots N Paws, a non-profit that rescues dogs from high kill shelters, when his plane crashed at Windham High Peak. He is survived by his wife and three children.
Two of the three dogs survived and are recovering from their injuries. The ashes of the dog that was killed was flown to Kim's family. The family plans to spread the ashes in their backyard near the ashes of the family's poodle.
