IT’S the season of giving and Nintendo is giving away a lot more to players than usual over the last few weeks.
Including the latest game drop, there have been six games added within the last few weeks.
Nintendo Switch Online games can be played via apps from the eShop[/caption] And three new Donkey Kong games have been added to NSO in the last few weeks[/caption]Just a week ago, Nintendo added three new Sega Mega Drive games to Nintendo Switch Online, for Expansion Pack subscribers.
This included one of the most popular games from the ToeJam and Earl series.
Over the last two weeks Nintendo has added two games from the Donkey Kong Land series and now the third game joins them to complete the trilogy.
The Donkey Kong Land series are considered some of the best games on the Game Boy, and they are now all available on Nintendo Switch Online.
This series of Donkey Kong Game Boy games were created as portable counterparts to the Donkey Kong Country games on SNES.
Donkey Kong Land 3 is a Game Boy version of Donkey Kong Country 3 with a number of key differences.
The environment and themes are the same as those in Donkey Kong Country 3, but all of the levels are completely different.
This means that even if you’ve played all of the Country games on SNES, this will be something new to play rather than an inferior version.
If you want to play any of the Donkey Kong Land games, you can access them directly via your Switch.
Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can download the Game Boy app via the Nintendo eShop.
Then you can open the app and select whichever game you want to play.
While Nintendo often drops a few games at a time on Switch Online, it’s usually as part of a big announcement like a Nintendo Direct.
As Nintendo Switch Online doesn’t remove games unlike Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus, we know these games will be sticking around.
While the games offered by Switch Online are older than the other subscriptions, the lower price point means we think this service is the best value for money out of the big three.
