DISNEY+ has confirmed that the streamers most raunchy show Rivals have been confirmed for series two.
The likes of David Tennant, Aidan Turner, Emily Atack and Danny Dyer starred in the romp-filled streaming show.
As per the original book, the first series of Rivals was set in the fictional county of Rutshire in the 80s.
Long-held grudges bubbled to the surface as the characters vie for business and each others’ affections in the cut-throat world of telly execs.
Viewers tuned into the show in droves as they raved about the racy action in both the bedroom and boardroom.
After the jaw-dropping cliffhanger ending, many viewers eagerly waited to watch more on Disney+.
Now, the streaming giant has confirmed that the critically acclaimed series has been given the go-ahead for a second outing.
The show was based off the novel by Dame Jilly Cooper which has sold 11 million copies worldwide.
She couldn’t help but gush about the series and how well it was brought to live by bosses.
“Nearly 40 years after my novel Rivals was published, I’ve adored seeing the world fall in love with my beloved characters – Rutshire’s Finest,” she exclaimed.
“And it has been a fairytale come true working with Happy Prince and Disney+ on the first season.”
She added: “I’m orgasmic with excitement and cannot wait for the return of my superhero Rupert Campbell-Black and the rest of the characters in season two!”
We previously reported that bosses were so impressed by early screenings of the show, they commissioned the sequel before it even landed on the platform.
Screenwriter Dominic Treadwell-Collins previously confirmed he only adapted the first half of the Rivals book on purpose.
And a TV insider said at the time: “The feeling is that there is still so much more in the story that could easily be made into a sequel.
“Disney+ appear to be on board, even though they haven’t announced an official commission yet.

“So going for a follow-up is a no-brainer, though these things take money and time, particularly as they have to try to align the very busy diaries of Rivals’ star-studded cast.”
