THE launch date for Mel Giedroyc’s new ITV game show has finally been confirmed.
The fan-favourite TV presenter has been handed the new prime time series by channel bosses.

Called Pictionary, the show is based on the iconic drawing game that sees quick-fire sketches and hilarious guesses.
It will follow the same fundamental rules of Pictionary, which first launched in 1985.
ITV will launch the TV adaption on Monday, December 23rd at 5:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
Speaking about hosting Pictionary, Mel said: “Everyone is familiar with Pictionary, and I am so excited to help bring the game to life on television.
“It is such a pleasure to be a part of and I know people will love the show.”
The series will run for 25 episodes, each lasting 30 minutes in duration.
Freddie Flintoff will host the special reboot of the iconic darts game show on December 22nd at 6pm on ITV1.
Meanwhile, rival game show The Weakest Link will air a festive special this year.
Romesh Ranganathan hosts the episodes, starring Shaun Ryder, Kerry Katona, Phil Tufnell, Sally Lindsay, Big Has, Tim Vine, Heather Peace and Indiyah Polack.

Therefore, Amir’s birthday is January 24th, corresponding to the 24th word in the sentence.
The Chase – The ITV daytime favourite left fans scratching their heads when it threw up one of the most bizarre questions to ever grace the programme. One of the questions asked the player: “Someone with a nightshade intolerance should avoid eating what?” The options were – sweetcorn, potatoes, carrots – with Steve selecting sweetcorn but the correct answer was potatoes.
