I think a lot of fans are against him now because of his behaviour as captain with his antics off the pitch.
Truthfully although he will be a decent Championship defender, he always looks like he has an errant pass or a mistake in him. It's hard to trust him now and I have no doubt the mistakes are likely down to match sharpness, as he is a decent defender.
I just think it would be better for him and us if he moved on now, draw a line under it, replace in Jan.
Yeah can't disagree with much of that, except that pragmatically speaking I don't think it would be great for us to lose him in the medium/long term.
He seems to be 4th choice, so I'm fine with him going on the assumption that we would replace him with a better long term fit for the side. If we can upgrade on a player than I think they are all available to move on, with probably the exception of Jay.
