MAFS UK’s most bitter feud has exploded after a show bride refused to film the reunion.
The most recent series of Married At First Sight UK was packed full of drama, including couple swaps and bullying rows.
Polly Sellman and Adam Nightingale‘s relationship struggled from the start after he confessed to not being attracted to her.
Their show marriage crumbled towards the end of the experiment and The Sun can reveal Polly refused to film recently for a special set to air in 2025.
An insider said: “Polly didn’t attend the filming of the recent special, which will air in 2025, as she couldn’t face seeing Adam again.
“She has worked really hard on herself and her mental health since filming, and couldn’t bear the thought of reopening old wounds.
“Polly also copped a lot of backlash for her behaviour on the show, especially when she threw a glass of wine in Adam’s face, and she didn’t want to be put in a situation again where she might be cast in a negative light.”
The Sun has contacted a rep for MAFS UK for comment.
Since filming wrapped Adam has sparked rumours he’s moved on with Polly’s fellow show bride Amy Kenyon.
It came after they appeared close on a night out, with Adam pretending to propose to her in a snap shared on social media.
He recently addressed the speculation and confessed there is an “attraction” between them.
Speaking to BBC East Midlands, he said: “Me and Amy, she’s like the female version of me. We’re so alike.
“We’ve both said to each other, yeah, we find each other attractive but our friendship’s that good we’d never want to spoil that.
“So I’ve always said to Amy I’d rather have you as a friend in my life than nothing.
“I think me and Amy will be staying friends for, I’d like to think the rest of my life because she’s someone that I do trust and I feel I can tell her anything.”
