UCLA running back T.J. Harden is planning to enter the transfer portal. Premium Sports, a training and marketing team, posted the announcement on X on Monday night.
Harden, an Inglewood High product, received the majority of touches this season and ran for 506 yards and two touchdowns on 124 carries. He was the Bruins’ second-leading receiver with 47 receptions for 368 yards and a touchdown. He was used in a reserve role in the final game of the season against Fresno State, which allowed Anthony Frias II to be the leading rusher with 43 yards on 13 carries.
UCLA’s rushing attack struggled all season and averaged just 86.6 yards per game while generating only four touchdowns in 12 games.
Quarterback Justyn Martin also plans to enter the transfer portal, leaving a UCLA team that went 5-7 overall and 3-6 in Big Ten play with two big holes to fill on offense.
