A two-alarm fire displaced five residents at a waterfront condominium complex in Mill Valley, according to the Southern Marin Fire Protection District.
The fire was reported at 2:55 p.m. Saturday at 2226 Shelter Bay Ave. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to one residence, but two neighboring dwellings were damaged by smoke and water, Battalion Chief Travis Fox said.
No injuries were reported. The American Red Cross provided temporary lodging for two of the displaced residents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
